We can say what we will, and complain and speculate about the quarterbacking situation
( I'll admit I wanted peterman to start this game), and complain about how peterman wasn't removed quick enough. But I will say that I saw a team that fought for the entire duration of the game and played tough till the end. Give Butch time and he'll get us turned around

If he left peterman home then people would be raising hell over that. It's not easy to build a program out of the ashes. Especially with our brutal schedule, when playing Florida at the "swamp" qualifies as an "easier" game then that's saying something about our schedule strength! Give the man some time

Agree. Execution was lacking, but team fought to the end - especially defense. Worley is not comfortable in the pocket Watching AJ McCarron and the difference is so big. He stands in there with pressure coming and makes the throw. Worley stresses and makes poor decisions and delivers late.

Looking for something positive to say - Pig Howard came to play and is the closest we have to being a difference maker. Gutsy catch near the end, and nice change of direction on the reverse to make something of nothing.

It's so frustrating when we could have had a shot to win that game with a decent qb... it's not gonna work with Worley or Peterman. .we should start Ferguson next week and let him grow. Defense played pretty well most of the game. Those guys have to be upset with the ridiculous offensive playcalling and performance

I never said it on here but I thought that we should give Peterman a shot too, seeing as Worley wasn't getting the job done. However after today I know why the coaches picked Worley. I feel really bad for Peterman because I know he was probably looking forward to this game and showing what he can do, but he costed us big time today. Not going to say we would have won with Worley but I think we certainly could have. The sad thing is Peterman will probably never get another shot at UT with two freshman qbs behind him and his showing today. He will probably end up transferring and let's face facts making your first start against Florida in the swamp isn't a dream situation.

I agree to. Butch will get it turned around but its going to be rough this season and next season. I think yr 3 will be the yr we start really competing again.

Couldn't agree more. Was in the same boat and after Peterman's first two series, I had seen enough. Thought he should have been pulled. Agree with OP... most of these guys kept fighting. I like the fire in Butch on the sidelines. Don't like our offensive scheme yet but imagine it will get better when Butch gets the right guys in here to run it. Right now it just looks slow and predictable. I have dreams that it will be fast as Oregon one day and confuse the hell out of every DC in the league. A man's gotta dream...

Yeah, I never cared for a read option, spread offense. I would rather see us run a power I pro style offense and smash ppl in the mouth. I just hope Jones can get the players to make it work and at least compete, maybe actually win some games.
