'25 SC DB Onis Konanbanny (Tennessee commit)

Right! We all know skills he gained from volleyball are why he is going to win the heistman.
I think pretty much any athletic venture is going to help with some aspect of playing football.

not really arguing, just saying:
hand eye coordination, reaction times and quick movements, maybe picked up a few pocket presents having to work with teammates in setting the ball and things like that.

just my 2 sense.

Hmmm go ahead and bash me….but is Merrit taking this kids spot?

I mean, I know it has been said we want another DB, buttttt we have 5….do we really need a 6th?

We want to land Campbell, Morris, Perlotte. Do we have the room for 6 DBs?

It’s a good position to be in…. If we did lose this kid. Good to have someone in high regard ready to jump in. Can look to years past at examples of us losing someone and not having anyone lined up to replace

I would be OK with the trade personally as I do feel Onis is a safety and I like Merritt more

He’s not taking his spot. Onis is a super talented prospect as CB (although raw). Merritt is a safety.
Wants to see a good game or is this a worry iyo @KingVFL
I think he’s gotten some short sighted people in his ear recently. I’m not particularly concerned right now but obviously don’t love him visiting another school.

It seems like kids who have raw potential rarely ever make a lineup.

What in the world is happening to some of these commits suddenly looking around?
It’s happening to every recruiting class.

Agents are trying to turn up the leverage to get better offers. It’s not always just the amount of money but could be the years, the payout schedule, the terms around it etc

Some people seem to be getting more and more focused on optimizing everything they can as the market has gotten more sophisticated.
