Doesn't quite tell the whole story. Kiffin laid out a set of benchmarks he had to meet--completing missed course work, submit to drug and alcohol testing, etc--before he could be reinstated to get his degree. Dude is listed as the 4th string FB...this appears to have more to do with economics; very hard to come up with the $60,000 tuition on a whim (I know from personal experience).

That's some straight BS. Take the scholarship from a walk on and give it to a guy convicted of 4 felonies.
