Is anybody watching this? South Carolina is doing their best to lose to Vandy for the 3rd year in a row.

It's on ESPNU. Vandy leads 10-7 with 13:00 to go in the 4th.

SC is 22-33 passing for 313 yards and has 420 yards of total offense . . . and has managed to score 14 points.

4th and 5 from the 30 yard line with a 4 point lead and Steve Spurrier decides to go for it rather than kick the FG???

I take it they didn't convert.
Nope. They tried to suck everybody inside and run Garcia on a naked bootleg and got blown up for about a 5 yard loss. Vandy has the ball near midfield now with about 2 minutes to go.

Vandy just took a 24 yard intentional grounding penalty.

I think that's going to do it.

. . . and on 4th and 32, rather than throwing the Hail Mary, the Vandy QB scrambles and runs out of bounds.

I think Steve-O was trying to keep Vandy's winning streak against us alive. There was about a 20 mph tail wind at the kickers back on that 4th down, too.

Anyway, I aged another 20 years at the ball park tonight. If you look at all of Carolina's games this year, we could easily have a 2-6 record.

I missed the whole first half, but when I tuned in I saw a graphic showing Stephen Garcia had about 200 yards passing in the 1st half, but SC only had 7 points??
