I think USCjr is a solid football team who could’ve beaten both LSU and Bama if they had gotten a few more calls and the ball bounced a different way. They get aTm in Columbia Saturday night. They can win that game.

Before the season started I said UK was a trap game for Texas. I don’t think that’s happening now. We can take their soul this weekend.

Is it too much to ask Florida to do us a solid and beat Georgia?
I get what you’re saying, but I think there’s more room for us to lose to a 1 loss UGA team than a 2 loss UGA team. I don’t want the committee deciding between us at 10-2 and UGA at 10-2 if we lose the h2h in Athens. If they’re getting that second L, I want it to be from us.

I was thinking UF beats UGA and so do we.

Would that help or hurt? I would think that would hurt as then UGA’s back would be against wall and they would be out for bear for UT game.

I would rather it be a game of one loss teams and UT win or last resort keep it close.

just my thoughts.

I feel like we would somehow get screwed if UGA, Tennessee and Bama are all sitting at 2 losses and UGA gave us the second loss. It just feels like the committee would be willing to look past our H2H vs Bama if Bama wins out and UGA beats us. One thing to consider is if Ole Miss beats UGA, they’re back in it. That’s UT, UGA, Bama and Ole Miss all at 10-2. Whoever loses the Tex vs aTm potentially at 10-2. If we lose to UGA and Ole Miss beats them that’s Ole Miss with a better resume than us. Our only comparable H2H would be over Bama and a loss to UGA.

I think USCjr could provide the upset, especially if they all start wearing armbands…
You had to go there. Now we're going to get multiple comments ridiculing people who believe it is possible that USCjr was giving stolen signs.
Sure, Stallions and his minions stole other team's signs, but to give those signs to teams that may have faced Michigan in the playoffs- ridiculous.
It's also ridiculous to believe that some referees may be basing penalties on gambling outcomes. There is no corruption is sports!

Call me crazy, but I think our best case scenario against Ga is that they win in a very close, back-and-forth, type game the week before @Ole Miss. Then they just don't have anything left in the tank to prepare for us. They come out flat and can't recover. My fear is that if they lose the week before, they come out angry and turn into the Hulk.

I would be ok w/ 6 OT thriller where UGA wins and leaves nothing in the tank, while simultaneously knocking Ole Miss out of the CFP.
