Citing long established NCAA precedent, an Alabama fan has confirmed that the Crimson Tide could indeed be crowned co-National Champs with a TCU win next week! redd.it/100oczn
If TCU beats Georgia, Alabama will be the National Champion. (And you have
UCF to thank for it) (seitcre)

After yesterday's games, Georgia is number one in the Sagarin Ranking, with Alabama a close second and TCU 8th.
If TCU wins, Alabama will finish number one in Sagarin, with a transitive win over TCU. TCU won't be able to jump Alabama in the Rankings.
Since we still recognize split National Championships in the
CFP era, Alabama is going to be your 2022 National Champion if TCU beats Georgia.
It's like win a Championship in the pre-coalition days.

We have the same record and we should split the national championship as well.

Hope you started thread with intent to show how delusional that fan is and not a real concern.

I hate Alabama Football as anyone but a team with recent national championships (real ones) would not even attempt to claim a fake one. They are in mix for championship every year and will be again next year likely.

They’ll write a sequel to The Missing Ring if TCU wins

I've edited the title and OP attempting to turn this into a coherent thought. We've got Reddit, Sagarin rankings, Alabama logic and commentary that Message Board Geniuses is sure to be proud of. I'm not optimistic lol.
Well, I just thought that I would’ve just put it the same way as it was, and then Tennessee should’ve been included with the same record. 😂

there are so many spoiled delusional Alabama fans that it just cannot rest! Alabama is a complete has been this year. They lost to Tennessee, and they lost to LSU. They didn't win their division and they did not play for the conference championship, and they did not make the final four playoff. These idiot fans keep trying to rewrite history! Get over it all you Bama @ss suckers!

I want to 🤢🤮 every time see a thread with Alabama or Saban in the title on our Tennessee Vols Football forum. The only time it should be acceptable is Bama week or the game thread.

Stop posting about them in this forum.

I think we're missing the sarcasm. Alabama "claiming" a national title is a reference to their past behavior of reinventing history to their liking. This scenario might be as strong as some of their fake claims in the past. Which I don't really understand. They have real ones. Why make up fake claims?

Wee bit of a stretch don’t you think?

Yeah, they're not claiming anything this season. Right, wrong or indifferent, undefeated UCF claiming the 2017 national title due to the Colley Matrix is completely different than two-loss Alabama trying to hang a banner this season. There was a lot of ambiguity in regards to the national champion prior to the BCS, but Alabama slotting #1 in some computer ranking doesn't compensate for the fact that their losses precluded them from making the playoffs.

If that’s the case technically we should be the champs right (as we beat them head to head). Hell I didn’t even realize we were playing for a championship tonight ourselves. Lol
It seems that way now though, doesn’t it? 😃 I didn’t realize that we could share a national title, until I saw that. That’s why we can claim a national championship share, because we did beat them head to head. It wouldn’t be right if Bama got a share, and we didn’t.
