I was holding out hope that they would move Bristol into the chase. Oh well...

i'm just glad they're actually going to use the lights at Atlanta now. i was always amazed that they would never race there under the lights.

i think the truck series was the only one to race at night?

i don't remember a nationwide or sprint cup race there ever under the lights.

They used the lights, but it was only because it always rained with the date they had. The Labor Day slot should suit them better weather-wise, and hopefully it'll boost attendance too.

I would love to see it, but it ain't ever gonna happen. Bristol remains such a crap shoot of a race, the owners/drivers will never go along with it. And believe it or not, their input/agreement is considered. Not usually followed perhaps, but considered.

I don't really care about a particular race being inserted or taken out of the chase, but I'm not real happy with so many cookie cutters being in it.

I live near Hampton and can't wait for a night race here. I don't think a Bristol race in the chase would be very exciting. Remember Talladega last year 125 laps of single file racing and not taking any chances. I know Bristol is a short track but all the drivers seem to pull the reins back during the chase. I would like to see the last race before the chase at bristol. Could you emagine the cars from 6-14 all fighting for any position they could get knowing it was their last chance.

i would gladly skip a football game for Bristol in the #26 spot. in fact, that may be the only way to get me to skip college football for Bristol. that might be the best idea i've heard yet for moving the race.

i love Bristol's spot right now. it means, to me, the end of summer and the start of college football.

I hear you, buddy. I am counting down the days and it's only ten days until kickoff. Bristol and Vol football. It does not get any better.
