1. How many scholarships do have now, with Stokes enrolling early?

2. Stokes was in the class for 2011 not 2012, right? So are we going to force someone to step out of a scholly or not recruit that hard in this class?

3. Also, do you think CCM is expecting Stokes to leave after one HALF season? What's the rules on that?

4. If Stokes does indeed START, who is going to get LESS playing time? Also, how will our chemistry be? I'm sure it will take some time to adjust.

1. At this point, we have 13. However we are still recruiting Charles Mitchell, so it seems that someone will leave, whoever that may be.

2. Nope. We had an extra scholarship available (only had 12 before Stokes). We are now at the 13 limit for basketball. Martin is focusing his energy on the 2013 and 2014 class. As previously mentioned, we are recruiting one player heavily right now with Charles Mitchell with our previous three commits in Derek Reese, D'Montre Edwards, and Jarnell Stokes.

3. No. Stokes has to be 19 to be eligible for the draft, so he will have to stay for the 2012-2013 class. There is no way Stokes can leave after this season.

4. Stokes won't start the first few weeks. He hasn't played competitive basketball since Summer. But he will probably take Kenny Hall minutes if he's the real deal. I don't think chemistry will be a big deal. Stokes is a great kid who understands the situation. It'll take a few weeks to adjust.

Hope that clears up everything.

Stokes says Mitchell wants to play here.
Think he's willing to wait until post season attrition?
I think we'll lose 2 more besides Swiper and Tatum.

I'd love to grab a decent point guard that has a little time learning the system before Golden bounces.

I'd ride it out with Golden. We got Landry for 2013, and I'd rather have Mitchell considering our pitiful post play.

Landry might be the answer.
True point guard.
Good basketball savy.
Pass first guy that would rather win than score.
Very quick.
Scores an 89 on ESPN.

haha my minds gone. I keep forgetting that Golden is just in his 2nd year. Last year seems like forever for some reason.
