If Arthur Brown was to want to transfer to to us, would we have to use an open alotted scholly slot for him from the 2010 class

or

would it just depend on our 85 man scholarship limit?

I believe that he would have to enroll & redshirt for a year like Adderley did this past year. I don't think a transfer goes on scholly during the RS year, although I could be wrong about that.

yea they do.
Adderly was a walk on.

If he is released from his scholly, then he can be on scholarship upon enrolling, he would just have to sit out a season

i think we should have a good shot at getting him. Bryce came close to going to the U because of him. would be a solid pick up imo:D

I wouldn't mind getting him, but someone said they asked Bryce on Facebook if he was coming here he Bryce said no. But take it for what its worth.

I think I would pass on Brown, he hasn't done much at Miami and would not be able to help until 2011 at the earliest. He could prove me wrong but I think he will be a bust.

transfers do not count versus recruiting class counts, only the 85 number assuming we take a transfer and put him on scholarship
