Since I wasn't around here before this season, I'm interested in what ya'll thought about ol Scooter. How do you think he would've fit into Pearl's system? Good? Bad? Still would've shot it everytime he touched it?

yeah scooter was a beast, too bad we'll never really know. with what he has done for everyone else, i would love to see scooter out there under pearl, i think that would give us a pretty scary lineup

I think he would have flourished in Pearl's system.

I thought scooter was kind of a selfish player. He lead UT in scoring 2 years in a row, but the last year he had the lowest shooting % on the team, yet he was taking the most shots. I thought even then, Lofton should have been taking the most shots, he was the best shooter on the team.

I also thought he was a little bit difficult to coach. I always had the feeling Buzz tried to get him to be more of a team player where he was out to score as many points as he could.

McFadgon and Crump would have done a lot better under Pearl.

Hendrix would help out a lot this year, but you gotta set some rules.

or Vincent Yarborough, tony harris, marcus haislip, etc.

That team had final 4 talent w/ NIT heads (and coaching). Give that team to Pearl and he goes. Don't know how Harris would have like the structure though.

The guy who would have been really fun to watch under Pearl is Ron Slay.

I would love to have seen Slay playing for CBP!
