By looking at their stats Johnson is obviously a little better but which guy do you think will have the better NBA career?

Hopson's much more athletic, but that's neutralized by his inability to dribble. With that said, don't expect either of them to light up the Association any time soon.

Hopson can drive the lane..especially in a man on man defense which is all the NBA is while all I ever see Johnson do is shoot...the nod goes to Hopson but they both will not see much success at the next level

The stats don't show that Ravern is a better player, that's debatable. You failed to mention a few key stats. First, Scotty's 2 point percentage which is a pretty important element of the game. Scotty's percentage this year is .455 compared to Ravern's which is .430. Second, Scotty only plays 29 minutes a game, compared to Ravern's 34 minutes a game. Tennessee is a deeper team than MSU, so we have other guys to come in and don't rely on Scotty as much although we should. If Scotty played 5 more minutes a game, he DEFINITELY would be averaging more than your boy. Additionally, Hopson averages twice the amount of steals Ravern does at nearly 1 a game. They are basically even in regards to rebounds .20 difference. Finally, your out of conference schedule was PATHETIC and I think Ravern would have shot lower percentages if he played Pitt, UCONN, Memphis, USC and about 5-7 other better non-conference teams, and also other SEC East teams on a regular basis. We had the second hardest schedule in the country. The best conference opponent you guys played was Va Tech who didn't make the tournament and St. Mary's.

Finally Scotty is 25 pounds bigger than Ravern and a much more physical player. Ravern relies on three point shots and rarely takes it to the rack, except when on a fast break. I think Ravern is decent, but Scotty will be a better pro prospect due to his multi-dimensional game and athleticism.
