i was very impressed with the way Scotty played. Thats the most aggressive he has ever been taking the ball to the hoop and using his combination of size and quickness

Yesssss!! I knew he had it in him. So many times he's left us with flashes and then went MIA for so long that I'm proud he could be consistant today on a huge stage against good competition. That dunk on Aldrich needs to be on SC Top 10.

We may have two plays in SportsCenter's top 10. McBee's 3 and Hopson's dunk.

I was screaming at the top of my lungs when I seen the shot clock get down that low (same as the one Woolridge put up) and then he drained it and I was in complete shock. This kid is so much better in clutch than anything (same with Charlotte when he capped off that run that opened the game up for us compared to bricking and airballing the previous two attempts)

It was so good to see him driving to the basket instead of settling for threes for once. Once he establishes the drive the three will open up that much more

It is great to see him playing to the level he is capable. Solid game today and hope it continues. I really think the presence of Tyler on the team and in the middle of the paint kept him from driving so much. That dunk of Aldrich was one of the best I have seen from UT in a while.

Hopson's play tonight was very impressive.

I've heard them talk on WNOX how talented he is but we finally got to see him really handle his business tonight.

I see no reason why cannot do that every time out. Shooting threes does not always work. Either you have it or you don't, on any given night. However, he should always have that quick first step, and be able to drive for a close-up shot. For me, it always seemed easier to hit a long shot after hitting an easy one anyway.

Give me about 2 more games where Hopson does this and I'll say he's arrived. He played well tonight.
