If things go as expected tomorrow weatherwise what are the chances a lot of these recruits never even make it in for their visit?

seeing as how in memphis the city has already shut down due to White Death 2010, it is very possible

If it happens, it happens. Not much we can do about it. The way things have happened up till now, it wouldn't surprise me at all.

not snowing yet, supposed to get more ice than snow. but hell a quarter of an inch is enough to shut down city government here

Don't worry if one snowflake is unfortunate enough to hit the ground in the state of Tennessee TDOT will have it surrounded with fifteen snowplows equipped with flamethrowers. Watching people freak about the weather in the south is almost a sport, every grocery store in the state will be sold out of eggs, milk and bread by tomorrow.

like the fifteen snowplows idea - although the city of memphis does not actually have one! :lolabove:
Im not too worried about the eggs, milk or bread - just better be a 12 pack when I leave work tonight!!!!

You went to Alaska-Anchorage? Wow, I'm sorry. Why not Alaska-Fairbanks? Much stronger, academically.

When it rains(or in this case snows) it pours. Man oh man. But the bright side is we went through a media circus for 14 months, has 2 coaching searches in as much time, and managed 2 top 10 classes out of it. Evidence that our program is alive, well, and prominent. V M F

Ok, scratch the bottle of Jack, I forgot we're talking about 18 year olds.... Still plenty of fun to be had, though....

cause I wanted to do the eskimo toss at UAA instead because they had much better blankets. Of course I was only a 2 star eskimo toss recruit but the coach really liked my tossing.

addendum: Plus Fairbanks is the hellholes of all hellholes. Bar None. Even worse than Gainesville if you can believe it.

The snow will only highlight the fact that even when it snows or rains or is too dang hot, the Vols can STILL practice on our indoor turf.

Hey Da'Rick......UGA can not say/do that!

I've been there, and you raise an excellent point. Anchorage is an interesting city. Fairbanks is unbearable in the middle of winter or middle of summer.

If it's 55 there today, then it's pretty likely little snow will actually stick to the roads. Funny how people freak out over snow!!
