Holy Crap, just another reason not to go anywhere near the swamp.... really? Where was the security? This wasn't a random car in the parking lot, but a gigantic touring bus. Apparently the thieves took just about everything from all the bags, laptops, car keys, etc.... The only thing the University could do to save face would be to replace everything no questions asked. Even if the coaching staff said they had a freakin fridge, replace it. Embarrassing for the conference. Stay Classy Gators.

Gainesville - Ocala is a haven for criminals. Lots of cash paying jobs in the agricultural and equine industries where background checks aren't necessary. The odd thing though is that if you go there as a visiting fan and step out of line just a little they will lock you up.

A lot of times, schools never seem to do a great job about security for other team's buses.

Here was an incident that happened to A&M's bus the year before they left the Big 12:
