Before this latest news some folks I know who cover high school recruiting had told me he actually had back issues before he left high school..TIFWIW

Like I said, TIFWIW...But they have been right probably 95% of the time with their info over the years..

This is the reason why I don't put so much stock into highly ranked players out of HS until they play for a couple of years and you can see where they are at, mentally and physically.

Back surgery rarely fixes the problem. This will likely be an ongoing issue.

This is a shame. The guy was an absolute beast by the end of his freshman year.

Hope he's able to bounce back in 2012.

I have 2 previous surgeries and am looking another major one in the eye giving this claim some credibility.

Hope he recovers well.
