In today's Tennessean Fulmer says he expects Sears to play Saturday. Inuries are reported as sprained left elbow and sprained left ankle.

He'll sit out of practice for most of the week, but I seriously doubt he's going to miss the Georgia game.

He obviously learned from Munoz. Now, if UGA's DEs eat him alive, he can blame injuries. That was always Munoz's fallback after Pollcak destroyed him.

lol. I wonder if he will be as p.o. as Munoz if he goes undrafted?

Well, apparently most of you guys haven't followed Sears too long. The same thing happened the last time we had to go to Athens. Sears sat out most of the week with injuries, but, not only did he play Saturday, he played 4 positions and did a great job at it(as a Sophomore).

Had he played poorly, he would have had the Munoz "I had a strained vaginal muscle" excuse to fall back on. I t creates a no lose situation for those guys. Play well, the naive and easily fooled call you a warrior. Get your head handed to you, cry injury.

Had he played poorly...he would have...

OK, that type of statement clears up some things. You're drawing conclusions based on your own set of hypotheticals. They always seem to downgrade some aspect of TN or the players. Not a critical observation -- even if subjective -- but merely a jab.

Really well written. Have you considered trying to express those thoughts in some form of proper English?

It's not my set of hypotheticals. Those are simply observations based on objective evidence. Everytime Munoz got his head handed to him, by Pollack for example, everyone at UT would bemoan his health. Last year the coaching staff blathered on about all the offseason surgeries. Injury has become the free pass in this program. It can't be that the OL is overrated or poorly coached, it's simply a matter of health.

How can you pass a judgment on one player just because another acted in that manner? How many times have you seen/heard Sears make an excuse, especially regarding health? I suppose, if it was a Cane or a Sooner, the health excuse would be legit and he would, indeed, be a trooper or warrior, but, since the player in question is a Vol, he would be considered a prima-donna.

The next time you hear a 'Cane talk about an injury, call me. They adhere to the concept of never showing weakness. I was critical of Adrian Peterson for talking about injuries last year. If you're healthy enough to get on the field, you're healthy enough to perform. If you don't get it done, keep your mouth shut and don't use injuries as a backstop.

He doesn't have to. His head coach will do it for him.

How many times has his head coach "done it for him"?

Quit making S^&* up. It's all you ever do. You're exposed, no one here cares what you think. Go flame the Cokerites or the Stoopites.

No, he said nothing about it. Don't put words in his mouth. CPF can say what he wants, that is one thing, him saying it is another. You can't point me to one damn quote where Sears has complained so drop the $hit. If you can't back up your argument, then at least have some dignity and shut up, you just make yourself look like a hypocrite.

Oh, look who's here. All the Bizarro MENSA boys are out. Did you get to console Little Johnny Sunshine's Dad after TCHFCATUTK rooted him to the bench after one series Saturday? Did that make you spit out your Orange Zima? Did it make your Applebee's ribs go down a little tough? Back on topic, TCHFCATUK went out of his way Saturday to talk about the Congressional Medal of Honor quality courage exhibited by Sears in merely playing. Now, if he gets smoked like his predecessor, Michelle Munoz, we'll all get to hear how tough it is to play banged up. By the way, did Little Johhny Sunshine's lack of playing time melt your Dreamsicle cake? Have you kissed and made up with TCHFCATUTK and Mini-Fulmer? Please tell us little Johnny Sunshine isn't going to transfer home to play at Catawba.

WHAT? You mean you really AREN'T ignoring me? Well, that makes you a liar then doesn't it? Not surprised, you lie about everything else here, and you're a lawyer.

Again, no proof, just personal attacks. You really are one-dimensional hat, no longer a formidable opponent.

No after adding VolBeef to my ignore list, I had a revelation. I should not deny myself the pleasure of exposing the ignorance of Applebee's eating, Orange Zima drinking, Crompton worshipping rubes. So, welcome back.
