Seatle knew the Broncos plays?

First off, fans of the world's game refer to that paper as the Daily Fail for a reason.

That said, the Seattle defense picked up on Peyton's signals and he didn't adjust. Yet another reason '13 Seattle will go down as one of the greatest defenses in the history of the game.

Seems like Sherman did in fact say those things. It's reported on Fox Sports too.

Did Sherman, Seahawks crack Peyton's code in blowout? | FOX Sports on MSN

But I agree with your other point, Peyton (or his coaches) should have never let that happen.

So says this article:

Seahawks' Richard Sherman says they 'cracked Peyton Manning's hand signal code in Super Bowl' | Mail Online

If so, bad on Peyton for allowing that to happen. Reminds me of the spygate thing with the Patriots. Interesting. Thoughts?

Nothing like spy gate. Spygate was recording teams during practices and such to create a competitive advantage. If during the actual game, the other team cracks your code, that's all on you. We did the same thing versus Cal in 2006...either Cutcliffe and co. figured out the signals they were using for certain plays on defense or Chavis and Co. figured it out for their offense.

That's their fault if their code's not complex enough to keep from being figured out.

Could the Broncos have thrown the SB so that John Fox would not get his Million Dollar Bonus for winning the SB? He is a terrible coach and proved it when he punted while being down 4 TD's in the second half.

I thought the performance was fire-worthy.

And the punt was so damn stupid. You punt from midfield halfway thru the 3rd quarter but then onside kick the very first play of the fourth quarter. So it took you 7 more game minutes to figure out where you were in this game?

If they figure out your hand signals during the game, then that's on the Broncos. Apparently no one on the Broncos figured out they had figured out the signals; that or they had no other plan so they just went with it.

I'm calling this 100% BS.

If they learned their routes and were jumping them, then how come Manning went 14/17 with a TD and no INTs in the 3rd quarter?

I'd sooner believe that they were all jacked on adderall again, before this.

Yeah. Manning threw the ball 49 times and the DBs deflected 4 passes and intercepted 0 passes. To me the D line is what dominated the Broncos more than anything. The LBs and DBs did a great job of keeping the Broncos WRs from accruing YAC, but the D line is what stifled their offense.
