ah, who cares...

i do find it weird that Auburn didn't move any higher than they did in the USA today poll...the AP moved them to 2. I thought the drop for LSU was a bit auspicious....they are still a top ten team.

as for our ranking...we probably right now are a top 20 team...16-20 is about right. but again, polls are not my concern right now.

if we wouldve won that game by one would we be considered a top ten team, even with the SAME stats......come on people, if we wouldve won we would have beaten two TOP 10 teams in 3 weeks people would be all over our nuts......but we slipped and gave up a crucial td drive and lost BY 1 yes we have things to work on, but if anything we go in GA game 4-1 and GA is a team WE can beat, and LSU is a team WE CAN BEAT, and BAMA is a team we CAN beat, these teams arent any better then us, yes they strive in some areas we dont, but we strive in areas they dont....HAVE FAITH

As for the attempt at ratings logic... why bother? They HAD to rank Michigan as high as humanly possible. I mean, they beat Notre Dame. That's like beating the Almighty Himself... didn't you know that?

They HAD to rank Louisville in the top ten... they beat Miami. Well, actually they beat the bloated, fetid, buzzard-picked remains of a once-great program... but that Brian Brohm is a Heisman candidate (after he gets out of surgery). Ps- West Virginia is going to CREAM these guys.

Of course they were going to bump the corndogs out of the top ten for those two teams alone. Its not like we don't understand this. We all read the same publications and tear our hair out from repeated exposure to stupidity. I mean really, this is a profession where Beano Cook is held in the utmost regard. This is why we love it so much when everyone picks against the Vols... because we know they have NO CLUE!

too many if's and but's. we lost. they won. rankings don't matter....the only way i'll care about rankings is if we're in the top 5 in October. and that ain't happening this year.

whats in october theirs still games after that to be played........we'll see come DEC.
