I'm hoping they are right and he crushes a few opponents. Maybe the 4-3 will help improve his numbers/productivity as well.

This part makes my head want to explode...

Auburn bounces back: Gus Malzahn has hired a first-rate staff on the Plains, and the Tigers aren’t lacking for talent. Look for them to bounce back and win eight games next season.


Only time will tell what kind of staff Butch put together, but at first glance I have my doubts.

Malzahn makes their offense, but defense wins games more than the offense in the SEC. They aren't playing in the PAC-12.

Auburn is the nail waiting for the NCAA hammer to drop. May take time but it is inevitable.

Not sure what proverbial hammer is to drop on Aubie, but Chris Low is correct on this one. Auburn put together a very respectable staff.

Didn't happen.

The Auburn staff is far better than UT's.

We will see which HC is the best.

This is called coachspeak. They all do it. Like when they say "Georgia State is a real quality opponent." They mean, "They suck ass, but we'll still have to show up."

Here Butch meant "I know who I want to coach with me because they've won with me before and they're pretty damn good."

After Lane spewed on about beating Florida at his first presser, I figured this down-to-Earth, optimistic approach would be welcomed. Nope.

On paper? Sure, it's a great staff, but there's a multitude of other aspects to a staff than just a bunch of recognizable names.

People aren't taking into account that Butch surrounded himself with coaches that know what he wants to do, and coaches that he works well with. Most of all, it's a staff that provides stability. (do we even know what that means, anymore?)

A star studded staff can be a problem. Kiffin had a pretty star studded staff, and that left us in a pretty s***ty siuation, IIRC.

Seeing the "best staff in America," complaints has grown old. It's all opinionated speaking.

Auburn getting 8 wins next season???? After only winning 3 this past season! Highly unlikely. I counted...maybe 5. The staff is good. But, I would be very impressed if they bounce back with 8!

The west is a tough division. I think they will battle with Ole Miss and Arkasas for the 5th-7th spots in the west.

CBJ, imo, hired one of the best recruiting staffs in the country. This group works hard and it is paying off. If CBJ gets results, I have a hard time disagreeing with his assessment of the staff...

Doesnt it bother every freaking vol fans that this statement was made about auburn n not us..

Wtf.. Is hart doing spending 45m on a complex n bring in walmart type coaches. Fire hart now.. It doesnt add up
