Looks like MS State should pull out a win. You all remember the west didn't do well in their bowl games last year.

Quite the SEC showing between the beat downs both us and Bama put on the Big 10.

I still hope Clemson takes down Bama though, let's be real clear.

How about that Florida loss though, how overrated were they in the end?

Doesn't matter. They beat us.

Where does the TN win rank in impressiveness compared to the other SEC wins?

Either tied for first or second to Alabama. We are the only one to beat a much higher ranked foe even if we were favored and we held them to one touchdown whereas Bama shut theirs out. Hard to really say but those two are in a class of their own for the time being. Ours won't get as much attention since it wasn't a playoff game which is what I think does tip in strongly in bamas favor for the most impressive.

Very over-rated obviously. I think they know how lucky and fortunate they were to get to Atlanta. It was a travesty to be sure. At the end, the Vols were the best team in the East imo, but we cannot cry about it. The opportunity was there at the time and we didn't beat them on the field.

Safe to say talent wise TN should have been in one of the New Year's Eve bowls. We definitely would have made for better competition other than OKlahoma or Michigan State.

Except for Georgia, SEC wins are all by at least 3 TDs.

We went 3 - 1 against Big 10 (thanks Florida)

We went 3 - 0 against Big 12

1 -1 vs ACC (chance to go 2 -1)

1 - 0 vs AAC

Florida is the only stinker in the bunch though A&M should have won.

I think we can all agree that Florida is the most baffling SEC team this year. They went from far exceeding expectations to being even worse than preseason expectations by the end of the year. I'm not quite sure how this happened, but I think it was some sort of combination of sheer luck and Will Grier being better than most thought. I don't think it had anything to do with McElwain, who some thought was coach of the year about three quarters through the season.

If you think about it it's kind of like Florida is no longer an SEC team in the sense that most get better come November like us and several others. Florida actually got worse. It's like they suddenly forgot how to play offense or something.

It's pretty clear UF's offense died with Grier being suspended. Harris is the worst SEC starting QB I can remember.

They certainly took a hit, but that alone doesn't explain it. They beat the pants off of Georgia and played LSU neck-and-neck in Baton Rouge, all without Grier. I think that, for whatever reasons, they caught a large amount of breaks as well. One need only look at our game with them to see a good sampling.

Sadly he also beat UT last season also --- The UF defense still should not have gave up all those points to Michigan though

UGA also has an anemic offense that managed 20 points or less 5x this year and had 5 TO's vs UF.

Prof has a point here.

Some of you talk as if FL had some gangster offense before the Grier debacle. We've lost to some terrible FL offenses during this streak. This past year was no different.
