...........cant believe we didnt stay in the double bye column.........ridiculous.

We should have split one of two b/t Vandy and Mizz. Life happens but to lose two buzzer beaters within two weeks- 😣.

KY presented difficult matchups so those two losses didn’t bother me as much. I thought we’d split th le Auburn & A&M, but again, lack of scoring down the stretch of the game hurt this team.

Losing to FL was a bad loss and began the downhill trajectory .
Losing 6 of 10 is concerning which is why I hope we can win at least two in the SEC tourney, though it’s not necessary.

This is better. Had we been #4, we likely play Mizzou with one less game in our "new offense"..... I'm all for the extra game to get Santi another 40 minutes at point guard.... We are deep enough to not have to worry about being worn out. Let's ride.

This was my big thing.........absolutely both were heartbreaking and deflated the team quite a bit I think. Hoping we rally together and come out on fire in NCAA

I agree.........just crazy how far we fell in about 5-6 weeks. Mizzou, Vandy, and FL losses just irritate me I guess. But I agree........another game to try and come together.

Would someone explain what happened to this team? Could they beat Kansas or Texas now?
I mean, we are 3 weeks removed from beating the #1 team in the country pretty decisively.

Now, without ZZ, any outcome is within the realm of possibility, and I wouldn't bet on this team outplayed their seed in the NCAAT based on his absence. But we just destroyed an NCAAT team in Arkansas without him. On the other hand, we just dealt with by an average Auburn team. At this point, this team's success seems very matchup dependent. We will struggle with team's with elite athleticism and length in the post, and/or quick guards who can penetrate the lane without ZZ's quickness on the perimeter.
