With OU playing. I realize OU wasn’t a SEC team this year but they essentially are now. I haven’t seen many SEC crews this far.

So far Arizona is handling them but it’s early.

SEC crews are refereeing the Fiesta, Holiday, Alamo, Sun, and Liberty Bowls this year.

They likely would have had one more of the New Years 6 if there weren’t so many SEC teams in them this year (Georgia in the Orange, Ole Miss in the Peach, Missouri in the Cotton Bowl, and Alabama in the CFP Rose Bowl semifinal).

Just stay out of ours; that’s all I ask.

T&P to the teams who have to deal with them this go-round. 🙏🏻

I mean, they have to and were never going to be in Tennessee’s. None of the bowl games are officiated by referees from the conferences of either team playing.

I realize that, but after 50 years of following the Vols, I am always braced for disaster coming out of left field. Or anywhere else.

Sorry, I didn’t realize that blue font was needed.

The screw job ACC refs did on the Vols in ‘21 MCB is historical. 13 penalties and allowing Purdue to push off all game. Then the last play.

Tennessee had 2 games that yr with 13 penalties (most by far). Both were called by ACC crews.

What you wanna bet they have an even bigger chip on their shoulder for the SEC this year?

Don’t forget our defense was God awful allowing Purdue’s QB to throw for over 500 yards that was my first indication that Banks wasn’t a good DC and yet three years later he’s still employed here. Crazy!!

We better pray for a Pac12 crew. ACC & Big12 will hate Tennessee
We’re set to have an ACC crew.

The Gator Bowl (Clemson vs Kentucky) and Reliaquest Bowl (Wisconsin vs LSU) will both have Pac-12 refs, as will the Peach Bowl (Ole Miss vs Penn State).

(While I’m at it, the Cotton Bowl (Missouri vs Ohio State) and the Music City Bowl (Auburn vs Maryland) will have Big 12 refs. The Orange Bowl (Georgia vs FSU’s 3rd string and walk-ons) will have a Big Ten crew.)
