No. We beat their two toughest teams and blew one of them out. I say LSU is one of the better teams because how they have played in recent games recovering from the loss to us. Us and Georgia are 1 & 2 right now. The remainder of the east drops off after us. They have 3 good teams we have 2.

Kentucky and Ole Miss are pretty close. Remember, Kentucky was a Levis fumble away from beating them in Oxford. If you go by results and rankings:

Tennessee > Bama
Georgia > LSU
Kentucky < Ole Miss

After that, it's a wash.

I think they're pretty much on par.

We're catching up quickly if this year is an indicator of the future, but we'll always have Vandy.

I am not sure that GA is better than LSU as of today. Will know more on Saturday

No. UT and UGA are the 2 best teams in the SEC, to me, but the East is very mediocre after that. LSU, Arkansas and the Mississippi schools are all solid football teams. Auburn and A&M suck, but they’d both beat Mizzou and Vandy imo (Auburn already beat Mizzou).

I thought so after UK beat Florida and Florida beat Utah.

Ole Miss is holding strong and LSU is basically a 7-1 team without a missed FG…

Like who is the 3rd best team in the east right now? Maybe UK due to win vs Florida?

Bama, Ole Miss, LSU are 22-4 with wins over UK and Florida

Tennessee, Georgia, Kentucky are 21-3 with wins over Bama and LSU

I think LSU and Ole Miss only get better…. I’m still not convinced Bama is the lock to come out of the West this year. I think Ole Miss has better shot to upset them at Home than LSU on the road.

If Auburn and A&M stay down, the league could easily become a 4-5 team league until expansion.
