I have a question guys. If we beat Vanderbilt and Kentucky we all agree we will get a bowl berth of some sort somewhere. The thing I am curious about is the way it seems is due to a three way tie breaker we would finish above those twoat (3-5). Is that right? In event of a 3 way tie head to head is first I think. Which Vandy beat Florida Florida beat us and we beat Vandy so still tied. Next comes division record right? If so Florida would be (2-4) Vandy (3-3) Tennessee (3-3) In that event We would have head to head with Vandy so would get the nod and even if they go to that crazy tie breaker of who beat a higher rated team out of that ours was against South Carolina so we finish 4th in East instead of current 6th. Not that it makes a huge difference except coaches love pointing out in recruiting if they finished above rivals in record. Go Vols Beat Vandy!

If coaches are resorting to bragging about finishing 4th or 6th in their own division, it's a pretty lost cause.

Just beat Vandy & UK, go to a bowl (hopefully in TN), win and start the re-build.

It will be good to finish not at the bottom of the East, which is where we were last year and the year before.

Having said that, I don't think the SEC really tracks the tiebreakers officially for anything except 1st place.

Being tied with Vandy and Florida for 4th is honestly where this team is right now. If we had just held on against Uga we would be third.

Like I said, it's a step up maybe next year we can take another, and the year after that actually compete for the SECC.

Ok that is what I was wondering. Finishing first and definitely not last are obviously most important.
