SEC East toughest division in college football...

"In every respect, we're the team to beat in the SEC East," Jones said. "To be the champ, you've got to beat the champ. You've got to beat us to take that title away."

Hard to argue that.

from CBS.sportline.com....interesting read...especially the comment from Jones at UGA....

Good read. UGA better becareful. As soon as you think you are the king of the hill someother big boy comes and knocks you off. And there a plenty of big boys and others with potential to stay on top for a long period of time. That is why the SEC is constantly ranked as the toughest or damn close.

yeah, but you don't go saying that to a national reported when you have no idea who your best qb is, and you have to play UT, UF, Auburn, USC, etc....
i seem to remember a certain team last year that got a bit full of themselves and they fell flat on their face.

It's certainly better to let outsiders build you up than to spout off and do it yourself, I agree there.

They are SEC champs. I don't see why it's being full of themselves to think that they are the best team in the conference. Our guys last year acted like they'd already won the SEC before they even set foot on the field. Bottom line: Georgia proved a lot more in 2005 than UT did in 2004. I think their confidence is justified.

Let's see how their tone is after their second game of the season still with unresolved personnel issues.....and when is their break again?

You've got to lighten up man, not everything is a shot. Read it again...

I didn't take it as a shot. I just have no idea what it was implying. I wish I did so I wouldn't feel dumb. :)

(If I had to guess, it was a joke about positional and how that word could relate to gee-nah-tail-ia)
