Read this column from Clay Travis. it is one of his very best IMO.

If all of this comes to fruition, the SEC is going to make thunderous noise around the nation. The hell with the pissant Longhorn Network...and a pissant it would be compared to how this would enable all of the SEC teams to roll in the dough and increase their exposure.

You obviously did not read the column then.

Our current SEC Network is not a true network. The column discussed creating a true network, ala ESPN, CBS, FOX. That would be a huge revenue generator utilizing tier 3 revenue rights. It would make more money for the SEC than the tier 1 and tier 2 revenue generated by the regular networks, which we would also receive.
