Per AP article by John Zenor. Referred to Justin Hunter as "Justin Houston" :finger3:

SEC lines up national contenders despite losses GoVolsXtra

TENNESSEE: Key Players: QB Tyler Bray, RB Tauren Poole, DL Malik Jackson. Returning starters: 7 offense, 6 defense.

Notes: Youth movement continues with Vols offense relying heavily on sophomores — including Bray, WRs Justin Houston and Da'Rick Rogers and several offensive linemen. Defensively, Jackson is the front seven's only returning starter, but the DBs have a collective 81 career starts.

Lol. He got "Da'Rick" correct, but fudged up on "Hunter"? Go figure.

I guess USCjr gets the nod for 1st in east by default. Last year was the worst I can ever remember the east being & it's not like they tore it up just everybody else stinking. They have talent but as far as I'm concerned it's wide open & they aren't the favorites.

Nor should they ever be considered favorites. It's South Carolina.

I can understand why people would think that way because of our historical suckarseness, but things change from time to time.

Not getting into a big debate over this but what was USCjr's record when they won the sec east? Overall.

We were 9-3, with losses to Auburn, Arkansas, and Kentucky. Your point?

I thought it was 9-5. I wouldn't count those last 2 either. Point being USCjr was able to win the division in the most abysmal sec east I can remember. A year when Florida, uga, & Tennessee were a little down. I don't think all 3 will have the years they had last year & I think USCjr pretty much peaked last year. My Byrnes boy can't carry y'all forever.

You said when we won the East. The East may have been down, but that's not our problem. We won the games that were required, and got to Atlanta.

Also, last time I checked, Alshon Jeffery isn't from Byrnes, nor is Ace Sanders, nor is Devin Taylor, nor is Stephon Gilmore.

Without lattimore you guys lose 3 more games regular season. Alshon is talented but a little overrated & those other 2 are good but not exactly what I would call elite. Didn't you guys lose sanders anyway?

Please, tell me how Alshon Jeffery is overrated? Lattimore is a key piece to our puzzle, but he is not our entire team. Alshon was very instrumental in our win against Alabama, and was probably the only reason we were ever in the game against Auburn in the regular season.

Ace Sanders is back. I believe you are thinking of Tori Gurley.

I thought a guy had left the team & it was Ace maybe just a rumor. My opinion on alshon is just that but a 6'3"-6'4" guy is suppose to grab jump balls against 5'8" db's & that's about all I've seen him do.
