SEC Final Season Predictions
East:
1. Kentucky- If they can get anyone to score besides patterson and meeks they will be unstoppable.
2. South Carolina- I know you guys are gonna bash me for being a homer and putting the cocks at 2, but I think if we can get good play inside, we can beat most of the teams in the SEC, and it helps that the conference is having an off year.
3. Tennessee- Tons of potential in the future, however, someone besides Tyler Smith and Chism is gonna need to step up and contribute, (Prince, Maze), will be very good when freshman are jrs and snrs, overrated a bit in preseason, inexperience will show.
4. Vanderbilt- Very good fundamentally, lost shan foster and alex gordon, still have beal and ogilvy, the loss of shan foster will be to much to overcome and the Dores will finish with a mediocre league record, but they will pull a few upsets.
5. Florida- Loss of Maurice Speights leaves the gators with no inside presence. Calathes and hodge will carry the load, too little on the inside to rebound consistently and get second chances. They are a one man team.
6. Georgia- Its georgia, do we have a reason to think they will be good?
West:
1. Mississippi State- Varnardo is the most underrated player in the SEC and young players will step up and comtribute. They showed that they are forreal with their win over Arkansas tonight.
2. Arkansas- The combination of Washington, Welch and Fortson will be very effective, however, the razorbacks lack experience besides welch and washington. Nice wins out of conference, it won't matter because the razorbacks won't win enough league games to get into the NCAA tournament.
3. LSU- Thornton proved to be one of the best players in the SEC last year in his freshman campaign, however, just not enough experience or talent to be real contendors. Good record, but who have they played?
4. Auburn- Very athletic, but will struggle offensively very much like they have for the past couple of years. They are in forth because of default. Bama and Ole Miss are just bad.
5. Alabama- sucks
6. Ole Miss- sucks
