For anyone who denies that the existence of prejudice against SEC football teams I defy them to explain the referee's ruling on a first down in the South Carolina - Michigan game. WOW ... truly unbelievable !!!

I have no dog in this hunt, but the camera angle is not at 90 degrees - camera angle can be very very deceiving. Look at the picture above and imagine the camera being at the same angle from in front of the yard marker. Only way to tell for sure is if the camera is on a dead 90 degree angle with the sideline. Not sure how Spurrier wasn't flagged for being on the field side of the chains without having called a timeout.

It was a Big East crew who are widely known for their incompetence. Don't take it too seriously

They showed that angle as well still an inch short.

Guess you haven't seen the bama spot. Anyway that bad call probably won USCjr the game. If they had punted who knows but Clowney beheading the Michigan rb wouldn't have happened. Personally I pull for Tennessee & not one of the people that pulls for other SEC teams as some sort of conference allegiance. I hate USCjr.

Steve could have put the bill of his visor between the ball and the sticks, and still would come up short.

There is only one team I care about in the SEC. I root against all others. Screw em. We got bad calls before, time to share the wealth.

Sure I watched the next play, and I watched the next play after the blown call in the music city bowl a few years ago. I'm saying it happens, not just to SEC teams but all teams. Colorado got an extra down to win in years past. The NFL cant even get a coin toss correct. Bad calls are a part of the game, not SEC hate.
