Stoops certainly has a very secure job at the moment, but he'll be leaving for Iowa as soon as it's available. Doubt he'll be at UK in 3 years.

Also, Freeze will likely be at Auburn for awhile. He's a proven winner. He'll get Auburn to 10 wins within 3 years, imo.

Disagree. He's peaked at UK. He's a Midwestern guy. Iowa alum. Iowa will pay him the same or more, and he's got a much easier path to the playoffs each year.

"Consistent top 10 team just a few short years ago" = finishing #8 from 2002-04? Hmm. Ferentz's other top 10 finishes were in 2009 and 2015. That's hardly consistent.

Iowa's success is and has always been fleeting, similar to UK's. Ferentz hasn't finished in the top 10 since 2015 and just 5 times in his 23-year tenure. It isn't a better job than UK.

He may be, we know he's 1-0 against him. If Heupel is truly better than boy do we have us a good one, because Brian Kelly is a damn good coach. As you said I just couldn't put him ahead of the 272 wins and several CFP (2);and BCS championship game (1) appearances Kelly has just yet.
