My uncle sends me this every year. Pretty cool looking schedule, even if he did go to bammer.

Thanks . . . I print off one of those every year.

I notice that Vandy, Alabama and Auburn are playing 12 weeks in a row next year. Good luck with that.

I noticed that too, I also noticed we don't have an off week before Fl. that'll be different.

that is cool but i would bet half of d-1 teams wouldnt win 3 games playing that schedule!
Between Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Marshall, Air Force and Memphis, I seriously doubt that. Heck, last year's team could be bowl eligible with that schedule.

There are 2 schools of thought on this bye business.....a week to heal and prep....or a week to lose their edge....thoughts?

I've never liked early season off weeks, but I think a well placed week off in the middle of the season is always a good thing.

This year we played 2 SEC games in a week and won them both. I think the time to heal and prep is overrated, especially at the beginning of the season.

I showed this to a Bama fan I work with. He'd already seen it and his first comment to me was about how Bama was getting screwed by having no off-weeks. Then I pointed out Vandy and Auburn don't have them either. Typical Bammer, always looking for how they are getting screwed.

I also pointed out 2 open dates on the Bama schedule - Duke and Florida International :biggrin2:

Next will be the inevitable b*tching about the open date we have before the Bama game. So what if UF has one before playing UGA or if LSU has one before playing us.

Why let facts get in the way? :birgits_giggle:

That open date before the Bama game just ticks the Bammers off.......and I love every minute of it. :birgits_giggle:

When Roy Kramer retired to the Maryville area it was all the proof that any Bammer needed

If it were me, I'd rather not have an off week before Florida.....To me an off week before a big games kills you, especially if you're coming off a big win, and if things go good for the us the first two weeks of the season we should be going into the Florida game 2-0....Cal will give us problems, but Air Force shouldn't be a problem.....If we have two big wins, then we would have momentum going into the UF game...JMO
