Southern Cal goes into Columbia and slaps the taste out of South Carolina's mouth.

Would this be a bad time to bring up the fact that Mercer beat Southern Cal last week?

In Tim Floyd's defense, which I'm certain everyone was confident I would undertake, the Trojans were without Daniel Hackett last Saturday. He's the engine of that team.

Mercer beat us back in the early 90's. But Mercer holds a sentimental place in my heart, as I was engaged to my wife on Coleman Hill on the Mercer Campus. :cray:(Awwwwwwwww! Isn't that sweet!)

Also with Davon Jefferson, who will be a starter when healthy, and Marcus Simmons, who will get serious minutes off the bench, out. Should they have beaten them anyway? Yes. Would they drill the Bears at full strength? Absolutely.

Mayo's a stud, but they need those guys so he's not heaving it 30 times a night. Recipe for disaster.
