SEC hoops on Thur./Sun.

SEC basketball coaches have been talking this week about working Thursday and Sunday games into their schedule to allow for more TV exposure.
As a fan, I of course love the idea of being able to see more SEC games.
There are drawbacks though. Not the least of which being quick turnarounds on games with travel.

Coach Pearl loves the idea...

But other coaches are willing to endure the quick turnaround for the national exposure. Tennessee’s Bruce Pearl said he grew accustomed to the Thursday-Saturday format while coaching in the Horizon League with Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
“I will not complain about having one’s day rest to prepare if I’m on ESPN Thursday night,” he said

Coach Pearl will just about do anything for TV exposure at this point in time. Having a tired team is worth the risk when you're talking about future big time recruits seeing you on ESPN.
