I'd take Pope over Young.

Either way, solid list.

If we get solid PG play this year, I really think this team has a chance to get to the Elite 8. Maybe Final Four.

How good do you think mizzou will be?

Pure talent wise? Top ten. Final Four potential. This team has some serious, serious potential.

Two things:

1) They have A LOT of new guys. Five or six guys in their rotation that didn't play with them last year. That could hurt the development.

2) Haith isn't that good of a coach. Let's see how he does with his players.

This team has Sweet Sixteen potential. Once you get to the Sweet Sixteen, anything can happen.

I want to see Stokes knock Noel around. I don't know if it'll happen but that would be awesome and he certainly has a weight advantage.

I don't think the PG's will have to be spectacular this year, just do a good job managing the game and tempo. Limit turnovers and drive to the basket when the lane opens up. With Maymom and Stokes in the post, we are gonna wear down most teams with their toughness and their versatility to come out the post every once in a while and play towards the wing.

Seems pretty fair, interested to see what the coaches vote on. I expect jeronne and trae to play with a bit of a chip on their shoulder.

And yes, I expect Noel to see some VERY physical play from our bigs, and no I don't think he'll be 1st team at years end.

Noel is an incoming Freshman isn't he? How you get preseason sec 1st team without ever playing college?

and Kentucky picked to win the SEC and top 5 in the nation without anyone there ever playing a college game yet ? Also a little surprised they didnt go back to divisions this season

What? The whole point of dropping them was to accommodate the expanded league and to provide balance for SEC seeding.

Sorry i couldn't provide a link. I hate not having one. Got this from SECtalk

I think POY will be close between Stokes and Pressey. Depends on what kind of years they have.

Still doesn't make sense. One would think they would have to prove they can actually compete in the SEC. We all know they are good, at least make them prove it lol

They've proved it every year so far. If Noel doesn't make first team im confident Poythress will. Although we are def unproved we'll still have the most talented starting five in the SEC. Depth and jump shooting will no doubt be our weakness. Not to mention experience.
