Looks like the NIL matter has an impact on roster size consideration.

It seems to be a hot topic regarding how roster size changes could impact walk-ons, which I think are a fundamental part of college athletics. But I understand the issue. With NIL, limiting a roster by the number of scholarships is no longer effective.

I think maintaining "Walk-Ons" is important...and OFTEN used for Long-Snapper, etc. positions.

I remember friends going to the "Open Tryouts" back in the day...
