There has been alot of hype surronding the guards in the SEC, especially Wall, Downey, Bledsoe, Reed, White and Chris Warren.

However, I have been pretty impressed with the Bigs in the league. Guys like Cousins, Patterson, Thompkins, Tyus, Ogilvy, Varnado, Chism, and T. Mitchell. Selecting the all conference team is going to be difficult. Thompkins is having a great season but it is possbile he could be a third teamer.

Who do you think has been more impressive thus far, the bigs or the littles?

First of all, in your list of guards I would add Vandy's senior PG (Beal) to the mix. That kid can play.

As for the Big men, you need to subtract Ogilvy. The only thing impressive about him are his "frosted tips", which Jimmy Dykes fell head over heels for.

All in all, it is a tough decision. I probably go with the guard play, by a very small margin.

It is funny that you mention two Vandy players. Are you scouting them for this weeks game? Good luck against them.

Nah, they both just really stand out. Beal is a very solid PG, and Ogilvy has sucked it up since the beginning.

As for the game, this could very well be loss #2. Its hard to win playing in that barn they call a gym, no matter who you are.
