So Saturday Down South put out the schedule for the SEC Network Classic games. Here are Tennessee's

What's interesting the 2001 Tennessee Florida game where "The Vols drain the Swamp" is not there.

Tennessee

1999 Fiesta Bowl – Florida State vs. Tennessee (TENN 23, FSU 16) – Sat. 8/16 (7 a.m. ET)
2004 Florida at Tennessee (TENN 30, FLA 28) – Wed. 8/20 (1 a.m. ET)
2005 Tennessee at LSU (TENN 30, LSU 27) – Wed. 8/20 (3 a.m. ET)
2013 South Carolina at Tennessee (TENN 23, SC 21) – Wed. 8/20 (5:30 a.m. ET)
2007 Tennessee at Kentucky (TENN 54, UK 52) – Wed. 8/20 (12 p.m. ET)

What other classic games would you have liked to see?

ESPN still doesn't have rights to pre-2002 CBS games, so the 1998 and 2001 games mentioned in this thread won't be available for the SEC Network until after the first of next year.

ESPN has the rights to all SEC games from all networks starting with the 2004 Season, which was the start of the contract where the SEC gained ownership of the games. Prior to that, the networks owned their own games for rebroadcast.

In the recent past, local stations had been able to show classic games, including those CBS games through a deal with xos Digital, the company that ran the SEC website and had digitized the old games from analog tapes. Xos' rights to those games runs through the end of this year, so the SEC Network should have full rights to them next year.

What about the Touchdown JESUS game, Norte Dame and little LOU.:good!: We were behind 31-14 at halftime, and little Lou starting trying to pass the ball instead of running the ball right at us and we could not stop it in the first half, and little Lou got the bright ideal to throw the ball in the second half, Lou is a Dufus and still is a little Dufus or smurf.

Interesting part is Tennessee won all of these games? Did the losses get omitted on their scheduled programming or does the SEC Network not hate us?

I believe every team has a day showing its best wins. We may be a loser on some one else's days games...

It's really disappointing that I have to think this hard to come up with possible games that we have won since 2002 that are worthy of being a "Classic".

UAB? South Alabama? Troy?
