Not getting a bye week and having nearly all your conference opponnents coming off a bye week are completely different, and one situation is far more challenging than the other.

I remember when it was UT that played schedules like that,Slive must be scared that Bama might lose a game or 2 ,my conspiracy theory will be proven ,when UT is on the rescheduled part too,unless it is on the 3rd Saturday ,as it should be every year,which I do like the tradition ,other than that ,it is just the SEC taking care of Bama and boo on anybody else

The only reason Bama is getting this treatment is because they won the NC. Otherwise no one would cares at all.

I wouldn't say "far more challenging". I'd hate for the Vols to have to go through an entire season without a bye week.

Without a week off vs. giving all the teams you play half a month to get ready for you?

How much yall want to be Tennessee and LSU have to move their bye weeks. Last year both Florida and Bama were coming off bye weeks when we played them. Didnt see any LSU fans asking for special treatment. The hatred for Bama grows

On the real, Bama deserves a break. Hey, when was the last time a team has went undefeated back to back in the SEC?

This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever read. Why should ANYONE get a break, regardless of how many games they have won? Maybe we should just trade a couple teams with the ACC while we're at it, because it's not fair that we had 10 teams make bowls this year. Alabama is by far the best team in the country right now. What good does it serve to help them out even more? Perhaps I'm overreacting though. I'm a lifelong Tide hater. My first sentence as a kid on home video was of me saying "I HATE ALABAMA" over and over.

True...but in 2008 all of UT's SEC East opponents had a bye the week before except Vandy, and Bama had 4 SEC opponents coming off of bye weeks. Also, Bama had 4 SEC opponents on bye right before their games in 2007, with the next closest team LSU having to face 2 SEC opponents coming off of byes.

Maybe they have a valid complaint here....
