12. Tennessee (2-1, 0-0 SEC; last week: 12): We knew that cross-country trip to Eugene, Ore., would be tough, and Oregon made sure it was a very uncomfortable stay for the Vols. Before the Ducks built a 30-point first-half lead, fans were already chanting "We want Bama!" I can only imagine what Tennessee players were thinking. Things only got worse, as the Ducks registered 687 yards in their 59-14 drubbing of the Vols. Tennessee limps into its matchup with Florida looking for answers on defense.

They're only looking for answers on defense?

How is Auburn 9 and Miss. State 13?

Miss St. had that game won, and both teams are about equal?

The line was like 3 for the game or close to it.

I think we're looking for more answers on offense than defense. The defense was in a terrible spot and they cracked under some ridiculous pressure. Georgia and Bama have a chance to dominate them as well but other than that I expect them to hold their own.

About 5 teams are pretty close to equal. MSU def had that game won on the road with less than a minute to go. I was watching that. Heartbreaker for them.

Here's the deal: Arkansas and Missouri would be 2-1 right now with our schedule. We'd be undefeated with theirs, as well. But guess what? They haven't played ANYBODY. We should be at #10 imo. (not that it matters)

I watched the entire game, and I don't think our Defense was as bad as its being blown up to be...Obviously the Oregon offense is highly skilled, and the pace at which they snap the ball every play, they are going to put up points and yardage...i think the biggest defensive problem on Saturday was that 2nd-3rd quarter stretch where we went 3 and out over and over and over again. Is our defense as deep and talented as we want, probably not yet..but i do think we are much better coached than last year, and a much better defensive team....I think UF, UGA, etc will be a better measuring stick for our D

Vandy has lost to two top 25 teams and been in the game.

Mizzou, maybe. But not if UT plays like the did @ Oregon.

Right now the only team I feel confidently that UT would beat is UK. And that's only if UK plays their usual way with 0 qb play and inept offense.

UT gotta regroup and power through this. I know they got it in them. Go Vols.

Funny, because the one time UK actually played well enough to win it involved 0 qb play
