1. Alabama- They dominated Mizzouri, and got good news when McCarron declared himself ready to go against Tennessee.
2. Florida- Really, this is by default. They (no surprise) struggled against Vandy in the classic looking back game, but played well enough for the win. The defense continues to impress.
3. LSU- Jeremy Hill...who knew? If LSU is going to run for 250 yards, then almost nobody can stop them. And their run D stopped Lattimore cold.
4. South Carolina- Just a tough loss. If they can't run the football, they are screwed. Connor Shaw is a good game manager but nothing else. And their linebackers had a tough time against LSU.
5. Georgia- They had a bye week. They get an easy win against Kentucky. They are just waiting for Florida.
6. Mississippi State- Sure, Tennessee's D was bad. But Tyler Russell looked good. Can their D hold up against an Alabama or an LSU? I honestly don't think so.
7. Texas A&M- La. Tech actually has a good team, and TAMU beat them in Shreveport. Forget SEC freshman of the year. Can Manziel win SEC Player of the Year? Because Manzeil is going to be in the Heisman talk next year. However, their D really has struggled.
8. Ole Miss- Yes, it was Auburn. However, their offense is really good and their defense is continuously improving. They will give be competitive the entire year and go to a bowl.
9. Tennessee- This defense is awful. Rajion Neal's injury really sets them back. And at some point, the strain of Dooley's job security has to weigh on the team.
10. Vanderbilt- They gave Florida everything they had, but just could not pull it out with the athletes they have. They should beat Auburn. If not, we know (if not already) James Franklin isn't a good coach.
11. Mizzou- They had no shot against Alabama. None. I don't think Gary Pinkel is going to be able to compete well in the SEC like he did in the Big XII. I just don't see the recruiting.
12. Arkansas- TWO IN A ROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's something. I'm happy for these kids. I really hope they get a bowl game.
13. Auburn- His team already quit on him. Goodbye Chizik.
14. Kentucky- When's the Bobby Petrino presser?
