1. Alabama- They had a bye week and has a road game against Mizzou next week. They've had some injuries, but Bama should be fine.
2. South Carolina- They flat out dominated Georgia, and showed they were just cruising till this past week. Connor Shaw doesn't make mistake, and Ace Sanders gives them an X factor. That defense is one of the top five in college football.
3. Florida- Why does nobody talk about Mike Gillislee? This guy just shredded LSU's D and the Florida front seven is as good as anybody's in the country. And I think a lot of people owe Will Muschamp an apology.
4. Georgia- After all the hype about how Georgia was different, it turned out they weren't and couldn't stop USCe and their multiple looks. Oh, and Aaron Murray laid an egg. Georgia was looking to go 12-0 and might not even get ten wins for the regular season.
5. LSU- At some point, we must come to a simple conclusion that the reason LSU's offense sucks is Les Miles. He's had multiple offensive coordinators, multiple QB's, and they just continue to suck. I could see LSU going 9-3. That offense is BAD.
6. Mississippi State- They had a snoozer against UK and handled their business. Now they have a huge game against UT to determine if they go 6-0. Can Tyler Russell play big against a legitimate opponent? I think he can.
7. Texas A&M- When you turn the ball over six times on the road in an SEC game...and win....you deserve some major props. Could Kevin Sumlin be SEC Coach of the Year?
8. Tennessee- They had a bye week. If UT wants any chance to make something out of this season, they have to beat Mississippi State on Saturday or else Dooley could be fired. Can Dooley finally beat a ranked opponent?
9. Ole Miss- They let a huge opportunity slip this past Saturday and could have pulled out the upset against TAMU. But I'll make a prediction: Ole Miss pulls out an upset this year.
10. Vanderbilt- A nice comeback win against Mizzou, and now Vandy has a chance to do something this year (which would be make a bowl).
11. Mizzouri- Yikes....come on Pinkel. You have to beat Vandy AT HOME. I know Franklin got hurt again, but that's not a good excuse. Mizzou isn't going to a bowl game if Franklin misses any more games.
12. Arkansas- HEY! Arkansas does have some fight! That was a good victory for the players. Of course....maybe Auburn is that bad.
13. Kentucky- They just don't have the horses. I will say this. They don't quit. Now, they are a bad football team and Joker Phillips will be fired. But Kentucky doesn't quit and that is nice to see.
14. Auburn- I can't believe that Gene Chizik won a national championship two years ago and could easily be fired at the end of the season. Without Cam Newton, Chizik is 17-14.
