Which would you rather have and why? It seems like having the Regular Season Title means more, but the Tournament Championship is more recognized by the media. Lets go cut down the nets in Tampa! GO VOLS!!!

Regular season. I'd rather be recognized as being the best team over a span of a couple months rather than a couple days.

any other year i would say regular season, but with the youth and inexperience on this team i think that the sec can be used as a sort of mock tourney and the fact that they have shown up like they have tells me that they are really starting to mesh and come together as a team. so right now winning the sec tourney is more important than the regular season

regular season title hands down. georgia last year should tell you how much stock to put into the tournament championship

I'd prefer both. But if I had to choose, I'd take the regular season. That doesn't mean I won't be extremely pleased if this team wins the tournament championship. It is the same basic format as the tournament we are preparing for, after all. And it is a title that you can hang a banner for.

its weird that everyone thinks conf. tourney is bigger. my soph yr my school won the reg. season conf. and in the tourney got beat in the finals. we didn't get a ring still ticks me off, cheap arse AD

I think that may be how the conference recognizes the official champion. The SEC recognizes the regular season champ, but the ACC recognizes the tournament champion.
