No other conference is within 20, dominance will continue.

Alabama - 10
Georgia - 7
Texas A&M - 7
Auburn - 6
Ole Miss - 6
Mississippi State - 5
Kentucky - 5
Florida - 4
LSU - 3
Arkansas - 3
South Carolina - 3
Vanderbilt - 2
Missouri - 2
Tennessee - 0

Think this number will even expand once some of Pruitts recruits are eligible. For reference, two 3-star recruits went 1st round (Baker, Abram) that he recruited to UGA. He has an eye for talent no doubt.

I was actually surprised that Miss State had that many. Actually, Ole Miss as well.

Good to know.

I know the reasons why, but it's still sad to see we're the only SEC team that had no one drafted.

It's quite depressing, actually. Hopefully we break the trend next year.

Horrible news for UT. Worst senior roster in the conference.
Look at State and then Imagine what Mullen will be able to do at UF. A dominant SEC has not helped UT at all.

Look at it this way, one talentless (according to nfl fwiw) group leaving and bringing in more talented players with Pruitt, upgrades the overall talent for next year.

One little tidbit that makes our futility so sad is that Tennessee has been AWOL during this run of dominance by the conference. If ESPN did a 30 for 30 on the SEC's 7 titles in a row the only time Tennessee would be mentioned would be as the team LSU beat in the SECCG in 2007.

If you told me in 2005 that the SEC was going to rattle off 7 national titles in a row and continue on a run of general dominance in terms of having good teams, sending the most players to the draft, etc., I would have absolutely thought Tennessee would be returning to another dominant run of play, probably winning one of those 7 titles in a row. The 2005 season was a bump in the road, Fulmer wakes up reinvigorates the program, etc.

If you would have told me that, no, from 2006 - 2018 we'd go 86-78 and a staggering 39-65 (.375) in conference play, I'd say you should seek help from a psychiatrist.

That adds up to 63. Florida had five to make 64.

Alright!!!! We get to work it in that Tennessee had no one drafted. Move on. Things will get better.

Over a third of all underclassmen that left early for the draft went undrafted. Kids can't wait to leave school and go play for peanuts or just get cut. Makes no sense.

Interesting stat that I saw on another board:

Of Auburn's 12 most recent composite 5 star recruits, 1 went in the 3rd round, 1 in the 4th, 1 in the 7th, 3 transferred, and 6 went undrafted.

I wonder how many of them will not be signed by any team. I looked it up and the minimum salary for practice squad is 7600 per week. For a season if you stay on the practice squad, its over 120k. Much smaller than if you were drafted but not exactly peanuts. Guess it just depends on how much you value your college experience. If you think there is a decent chance of being drafted, a good chance of signing and making a Practice Squad even if you don't get drafted, and you don't care about your college education, you leave.
