SNL should be watching them for tips on humor

I haven't watched SNL in years. It used to be a go to. There are still some funny actors on it (I like Keenan, still remember him fondly from Nickelodeon days when I was a kid) but overall the writing is subpar and it has gotten too political (the latter might be one of the causes as to why the writing is subpar).

Once Keenan leaves they might as well turn off the on air sign for snl. He does exceptional but he’s it. Cecily is funny but she can’t carry the load by herself.

True. Kate McKinnon and Tina Fey are pretty good as well but the key is the writing. It just isn't there and you don't have the cast to make up for it.
