I mean the East is pretty much Georgia and then Tennessee. Not sure why everyone is enamored with Mizzou when the have beat virtually no one and lost to the only two solid teams on their schedule.

The East was better than the West LAST year. Including the SEC Championship game, the East teams were 9-6 vs the West teams in inter-division games. And the Vols beat the two best teams in the West- Bama and LSU.
