this Weekend 3/14-3/16

LSU @ Vanderbilt
Ole Miss @ South Carolina
Arkansas @ Florida
Kentucky @ Alabama
Miss. State @ Georgia
Texas A&M @ Auburn
Tennessee @ Missouri

I posted last week that this is a tough slate of games to predict. The best series is obviously LSU at Vanderbilt with second being Ole Miss at South Carolina.

LSU will have a ton of fans in Nashville and this will be a real test for both teams. The series will be 2-1 and I think Vandy will have the 2.

Ole Miss is a good team, I think they steal 1, but this will be the first mentally tough team that SC has played this season. If Ole Miss wins 2, they will likely be the west favorites.

Arkansas at Florida is the thrid best series I see, Arkansas had a tough weekend against tought opponents in California. They are better than UF but UF has the home field and are playing a little better, albeit against lesser opponents. Ark gets my pick 2-1

Kentucky at Alabama. Wildcats have built their entire self worth over one win over UVA in the first game. They are better than Alabama. But I understand there is now a very hostile crowd in Tuscaloosa. Will go with Bama 2-1.

Miss. State at UGA in the "Slacker Series" Both sets of bulldogs suck right now. I'm rooting for a complete rainout but will pick MSU 2-1.

Texas A&M at Auburn. Two more inconsistent teams. should be a weekend of very boring baseball. 2-1 Texas A&M

Tennessee at Missouri....Mizzou (after finally getting good weather) is on a roll against some mediocre programs going 4/5 against So Miss and Alcorn to get to 8-7. Tennessee wil be (by far) the best team they've played. I pick Tennessee 2-1, but a sweep is definitely a possibility. vols swept them last year as well.

By the way, season tickets are REALLY cheap at Mizzou. $60 for reserved and $20 for bleachers.

The Sunday loss eventually kept UT out of Hoover (after being rained out twice against Georgia).

Ole Miss is a good team, I think they steal 1, but this will be the first mentally tough team that SC has played this season. If Ole Miss wins 2, they will likely be the west favorites. :good!:

Arkansas at Florida is the third best series I see, Arkansas had a tough weekend against tough opponents in California. They are better than UF but UF has the home field and are playing a little better, albeit against lesser opponents. Ark gets my pick 2-1 :mf_surrender:

Kentucky at Alabama. Wildcats have built their entire self worth over one win over UVA in the first game. They are better than Alabama. But I understand there is now a very hostile crowd in Tuscaloosa. Will go with Bama 2-1. :good!:

So, out of seven series I finish 5-2. Not bad. Missed Arkansas/Florida and Texas A&M/Auburn
