SEC title game

I can see that point of view.

But, UGA won the SECCG a couple of years ago. And, the Vols are improved and UGA is worse.

Point taken. I will admit my disdain for UGA goes way back. I remember the Hershel Walker days. That and we recruit way more of the same areas as UGA than LSU.

That is also a good point. Therefore, I really don't care who wins the SECCG.

And LSU’s defense is below their usual standard.

Interesting match up for sure. UGA defense is pretty stingy and only Auburn slowed LSU this year albeit one game before LSU was going into the bye week before playing Bama. If the Vols can throw on UGA most would think Burrow may be able to

LSU ....too close to a lot of UGA fans to be able to tolerate them if they advance....besides, I've always sorta been a closet LSU fan even in spite of Ed O....must be because we rarely play them....or it could be because of....

Early line had LSU -3.5
LSU can't let UGA RBs run wild. Therefore, load the box, as everyone else has tried. Long day of grind and pound unless/until Fromm loosens things up with a few vertical shots. First to admit there has been major lack-of-sync in the UGA pass game most of this season. However, Fromm & co have flashed brilliance (see the Cocktail Party) against a dang sight better D than he will see vs the Tigahs. Say what you want, but Fromm has had some of his best games on the biggest stages. Maybe they put it together in the Dome.
I don't think LSU has seen a Junkyard D as nasty as the Dawgs this year. It's essentially the same D Kirby was running a decade ago when BAMA was piling up all them Nattys. They always got the bad rap of having no offense, game manager QBs. Yet they began a dynasty. Remains to be seen if Kirby will build a dynasty at UGA. I say Dawgs 27-21. Swift 145 yd. Fromm 220 yd. An LSU turnover will be the difference.

Did you see what Burrow did to that vaunted d of Florida? But I get your Homer excitement.

LSU...And for the record, I adore Coach O, he's a national treasure...Georgia and their fans are getting a little too big for their britches and need to be promptly returned to their rightful place in the pecking order behind the big orange and the big orange and blue (Gainesville variety).

Georgia vs LSU who will you root for? Personally I’m pulling for Georgia to win and to keep Bama out of the playoff.
LSU all the way (hopefully uga is demoralized like last year and loses their bowl game again). I'm also rooting for ou and utah to win out so hopefully bama is left out.

Just curious about the disdain for Ed O. I like his interviews and responses to the media.

My disdain is for the snake he is. This is a guy that trouble had followed every place he's been. Miami, USC, Ole Miss. And any slug who is low enough to leave Tennessee in the middle of the night just a couple weeks before signing day while calling student athletes and advising then not to go to class so they can follow him is a Slug.
It has worked out for LSU to this point but Ed O is what's wrong with college football.
Jmo and with that said I hope they beat Georgia senseless.

Thanks, I have to do some searches and find more about him based on what you posted.

Dawgs need a spankin. LSU 40 something UGA their normal 20.

Maybe 3 SEC teams in the playoff? That would piss off the nation.

After he left each of those schools they wound up on some sort of probation. With the exception of TN

Why'd you except Tennessee? Tennessee absolutely went on probation after Orgeron left. Though he wasn't specifically named in the findings.

Agree. LSU offense the real deal. That defense is reminiscent of a PAC12 unit. They give up yards and points in bunches. And they don't care if you sling it or run it. They'll lay down. UGA has a chip on it's shoulder. Losing to USCe was the most brilliant move of Kirby's coaching carreer.

UGA has one of the top defensive units in the nation. Far better than Bama. The question is, which UGA offense will show up for the game?

If UGA can hold LSU under 30...not that they will, but they can...then UGA can win this game.

Just to keep my record of being wrong intact, I'll go 34-31, UGA.

Go Vols.
