The SEC Tournament kicks off today. What is your prediction for how Tennessee will finish. Me being optimistic, if we can get hot we can take the whole thing. On the other hand, we can get bounced in our first game. Let's hope for a hot streak.

I voted quarterfinals loss (which is completely against my normal nature) but I'm not sure which Vol team will show up Friday. It's just so hard to tell. I fully think there's four or five teams that could win the championship including the Vols. But being judgement day honest I think it'll be hard to get past probably Florida. Tre Mann will be back too which will pose it's on set of problems. Of course I'll be right there pulling for the Vols as usually.

I like UTs chances of getting past UF whether Tre Mann is back or not. As inconsistent offensively as the good guys have been, I just don't see them shooting the 3 as poorly as they did Sunday. The key for going further will be which Fulk and Pons show up. imo

The offense still hasn’t played well yet, but I’d like to think we can beat Florida again if they have Mann.

If we beat FL in the quarter-final, I do not see us beating Bama in the semi-final. We just looked so bad down the stretch this year. On the other hand the TN team could win it all if they all "show up" and are hitting their shots.

Jekyll-Hyde , take your pick.

If we win the whole thing and say we beat UF, BAMA, ARKANSAS ---- what seed could we get? What's our ceiling? It would give us 3 more wins over quality opponents and put us at 20-7. High 3 seed?

I think at this point you just are who you are. I think we’ll beat UF on Friday and lose to Alabama on Saturday. We’ve been unable to string together 2-3 great games all season which is what it will take to win this tournament.

Not to mention Alabama is lethal from 3 which seems to be our biggest weakness defensively.

I hope I’m wrong, but feels like this win 1 lose 1 streak is just who the 2021 Vols are. Also, we haven’t won on a Saturday in a month, right?

I don’t think this team has the depth to win a game 2 days in a row. Before the season I thought we had a lot of depth. I even wondered how we could spread the minutes around. We need a serviceable Fulky to win games of any substance and he can barely make it through one game, much less two days in a row.

I'd say the lowest 3 seed is our absolute ceiling (overall #12). 7 seed being our floor. But I've long maintained that the selection committee doesn't even pay attention to the SEC championship on Sunday afternoon (unless a team wins it that wouldn't have gotten an at-large). There have to be thousands of things they have to do to get the bracket finalized and over to CBS, so anything they can do prior to Sunday helps them. I just don't think what we do on Sunday affects our seeding at all. So, that being said, I think realistic ceiling is a 4 seed.

We haven't played like a NCAA tourney team in back to back games since early January. We would likely play 3 tourney teams to win it all. My prediction is we win 1.

If Tennessee wins the SEC Tournament i think they will be a #4 Seed if they lose i think they will be a #5 Seed.

Calipari and Kentucky know their only way to the NCAA tourney is to win the SEC tourney. I think they will show up for the tourney and possibly even take Bama out. I'm picking us champs in a rematch vs. LSU in the finals.

Tennessee will beat Florida in a close one Friday, then lose to Bama Saturday. Although I think Tennessee can beat Bama, I think we will give up way too many 3’s to keep up IMO. Hopefully Tennessee can beat Florida and Kentucky beats Bama .

This is pretty much my sentiments. Recent results are so inconsistent, that I would have to go with first game loss. Deep down, I know that if everyone is playing at their best level, we can play with anyone in the country, but we just haven't seen that very often.

I think it all starts with Fulky's leadership. I think the whole team can feed off of him. That said, everyone simply needs to come ready to play every day, and I think we will be very happy with the results.

First game loss if Vandy doesn't knock off TAM and Fla.

In watching a lot of tourney games, the last day or two, teams that have struggled a little, look to be hitting stride. Duke, North Carolina(I see you walker Kessler), Kentucky looks to be playing better. Maybe a lot of the young teams, or teams counting on young players, will hit another gear in March this year? Basically what I’m saying is, springer and Johnson go buck wild and the Vols are cutting down the nets in Bridgestone in Sunday!😎
GBO!!
