While they don't have the Rupp magic away from home, Kentucky has had good success at neutral sites. It's mainly hostile environments where they struggle.
What's a great gift to Kentucky is that they got the weaker side of the bracket by far. That gives them a better opportunity to try to build comfortable leads so they can rest their thin rotation for three consecutive games. if they had three straight dogfights like it appears whoever comes out of the lower bracket will face then they'd need some supernatural endurance put forth a winning effort in the finals. It's what happened when they ran out of gas in the early season tournament where they won two consecutive games only to smacked down by UCONN.
too bad they only get one of Alabama and Georgia. they might have beaten both teams but those opponents would be sure to take a physical toll on the Wildcats before the finals.
