Roughly half the Big East wins came against Vandy, Kentucky and pre-Holtz South Carolina.

Beat me to it. Beating up mainly on the bottom feeders means nothing. Match the top vs top.team, 2nd against 2nd, and so on. SEC would destroy the Big East.

It isn't the same league now as it was a few years ago. If you took Miami, VA Tech, and West Virginia off the list its a completely different result.

Your post should have read "SEC vs. Big East in football, no comparison."

I didn't compile these stats. Came across them on this website:
mcubed.net : NCAAF Football : Conference vs. Conference records : SEC vs. Big East

Wasn't even close to saying Big East is = to SEC.
Just throwing out some surprising stats I ran across.

Some of you need to take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy yourselves!

Always cracks me up when somebody gets something, not agreeing with what they put in a thread. And their response is you need to relax. I didn't think anyone sounded like they were upset. But maybe you read things differently than I do.

I don't know about regular season, but usually some of the better BE teams play some of the barely bowl eligible SEC teams in bowl games.
